Advisory Board Welcomes New Faculty Members and Students
NASHVILLE - In coordination with the Office of the Provost, the Advisory Board of the Vanderbilt Undergraduate Reseach Journal has welcomed seven new faculty and student members:
Michael Goldfarb, Professor of Mechanical Engineering
Stephen Elliott, Dunn Family Chair of Educational and Psychological Assessment
Claire Smrekar, Associate Professor of Public Policy and Education
Kathleen Fischer, Student Representative for the College of Arts and Science
William Hooper, Student Representative for the School of Engineering
Katherine Kirkman, Student Representative for Peabody College
Andrew Dunbar, Student Representative for the Blair School of Music
At their fall semester meeting on Friday afternoon, the Advisory Board confirmed the nomination of Associate Editors Kris Bahlke (Humanities and Social Sciences) and John Sullivan (Engineering and Natural Sciences). The Advisory Board secondarily confirmed the nomination of Taylor Brinkman as the first Managing Editor for the Vanderbilt Undergraduate Research Journal.
The new editorial leaders will work with Editor Warren Langevin to lead the Editorial Review Board of sixty-seven peer reviewers from eight of the ten schools at Vanderbilt University.
